How long did it take to develop this awesome game?

I saw an interview where the creators said they received inspiration/influences from such old school gems as River City Ransom and Guardian Heroes. How close do they think the feel of the game is to these favorites?

Are they planning or thinking about offering DLC in the future for Castle Crashers?

Have they started work on a new title already?

Alien Hominid was available on multiple platforms. Is it possible we could see Castle Crashers branch out in the future?

How does the multiplayer story version work? Is it drop in/out at any time for other players in co-op, or must the players create their party before starting the game?

Did the Behemoth consider making Castle Crashers a disc based game first? What are the advantages of digital distribution to your team?

The overworld map is genius. Can you visit any place along the path that you've already conquered to "grind"?

Do the enemies get stronger as your characters level up, or only as you progress further into the game? Are there different difficulty settings?

After seeing the Gears of War 2 Horde Mode, I've wondered how cool would it be to have something like this in Castle Crashers. Have you thought about implementing extra gaming modes into the game in the future?
