As you get older, you'll appreciate the centralized focus on one console more and more. One side from a financial standpoint as someone else mentioned, and secondly, you'll find yourself approaching 30 someday with only a few hours a day to get a gaming session in. I started playing Twillight Princess in like April, and Im like halfway through the game 4 months later, due to the amount of time available for gaming. Games will last longer, fun will still be had though!
Of course, having like 5 hobbies and 2 business projects on top of a full-time job demands more time than the average person =D
