Why has the PS3 outsold the 360 by almost 1.5 million units this year?

PS3 is doing better then last year, i think everyone knew they will slowly be gaining some market. But the facts are 360 is still doing great, and PS3 still has massive gap to close. And that is not the scenario that people were prepared for some time ago, at the moment PS3 needs to improve.
