| Impulsivity said: I don't know about the sig, I mean Nintendo made TONS of money on the gamecube (like they do on every system) while the Xbox lost money by the boatload. I always thought of the Gamecube as the number two system 99% of the time even when it was passed up for 3rd party games on occasion. The Gamecube was certainly number 2 if you determine success by having a sustainable profitable business model, they could sell 25 million consoles combined with a ton of first party games every generation and make money from here to the end of time.
I liked the cube a lot better then the N64, it was even my choice for some multiplayer games thanks to the ease of using 4 controllers and the design of the GC controller. |
I'm not all for derailing a topic but anyway. I considered the Gamecube a zero because it failed to sell more units than the N64, it was in third place of last generation, and it was always seen as the kiddie console with most of my friends. I also considered the Dreamcast a hero because it was the first to have 128-bit graphics and online play for a console game.
Pixel Art can be fun.
