In a previous Madden prediction topic and the reasons he gave is he has the data and you don't.

Yeah and he had data for hardware that didn't stop 360 numbers from being incredibly off from NPD for July (and numerous other months over the last year for different systems). It also didn't stop Call of Duty 4 for 360 being undertracked by 600k for 2 consecutive months when it came out. There's numerous other examples like that of inconsistency.

You'll have to wait until the August NPD comes out to see if the numbers are close.

You make it sound like NPD is always spot on...
Tracking is hardly a 100% correct process, errors occur by ALL.

 

I didn't make it sound like anything.  When Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo stop releasing press releases using NPD information and start using this site instead, then this site's "errors" will be smaller than NPD.
