@above: I'm gonna guess that certain actions you have in the game will effect how the game continues. I can't see it having as much impact as, say Fable, but it would be kinda cool anyway.

I think you're supposed to control Capell only, but he can use other characters' abilities (due to his not having a "glyph").

I also saw there was a command to open a small menu to allow you to partially control your party members as well. Like choosing which spells or attacks you want them to perform.

I too would like to know the answer to Munkeh111's question regarding magic usage in this game.
