Nintendo still has the price cut card to play. The moment their sales begin to drop, they will cut the price.
I did some research on the web and found some estimates that the cost of the Wii when it was launched was about USD 200,00. If we take into account that Sony was able to cut the cost of the PS3 in half (USD 400 down from 800, correct me if I'm wrong), if Nintendo was able to pull the same cut, the Wii would cost only USD 100 to make right now. That would give them a large margin for price reduction.
