Simple fact is, I was waiting for the DS3 to be packaged in, and then it was announced it came with a HDD upgrade as well, so that was pretty sweet.

Now the whole package would be complete if this 80GB PS3 came with both CPU and GPU at 65nm.

 

Wasn't it supposed to have a CPU at 45nm?

 

now not yet, however 45nm should be comming, the 45nm GPU/CPU will most likely come when the PS3 gets a whole physical redisgn. Currently though the push is for 65nm for the GPU and I personally think the new 80GB will have it.

So the 65nm GPU will lower production costs, but the bigger HDD and the DS3 will increase them.
