I get almost the same data

Taking NPD's figures:

41,120,000

+
January 264K
February 281K
March 216K
April 124K
May 133K
June 189
July 156

= 42,483,000

~71.5% of 360 owners also own a PS2.
~69.0% of Wii owners also own a PS2.
~83,3% of PS3 owners also own a PS2.

Now it would be interesting to know what percentage of GameCube owners also own a Wii and what percentage of XBox owners also own a 360.

PS2 owners are:

~3.60% less likely to buy a Wii than the average consumer
~2.64% less likely to buy a 360 than the average consumer
~13.60% more likely to buy a PS3 than the average consumer[/quote]

This I don't agree with, those PS2 owners who also owned a GameCube or XBox next to a PS2 have likely already upgraded due to reasons I mentioned earlier and are IMO far more likely to do so than those who didn't own a GameCube or XBox in the past next to a PS2.

Your February number is the PS3 number.  PS2 for February was ~352k.  Source

As for the GC and Xbox data I agree it would be nice but its not required.  The GC and Xbox ownership is a characteristic of the PS2 users at large, knowing the GC and Xbox data would allow us to give a breakdown to see how much it effected it but the overal less/more likely numbers would remain the same.  If you are willing to accept the validity of the NPD poll then the numbers are a natural conclusion.
