http://wii.ign.com/articles/833/833766p2.html Medal of Honor Heroes 2 runs 32 players online quite well on the Wii, and EA doesn't use friends codes. So that isn't even an excuse for Epic. |
Why is that not an excuse for Epic? Do they have an online infrastructure setup like EA does? So basically you mean as long as Epic makes this one game with EA it's fine to be on the Wii, but if their next game goes to a different publisher they can continue to ignore Wii development because they can no longer use EA's service?
Also define quite well. Running to third party servers over the ability to use Nintendo's own infrastructure sounds more functional than ideal. I didn't say it wouldn't work. I said it would be lackluster. Why develop games geared towards online multiplayer for a console maker that doesn't take online multiplayer seriously? Microsoft and Sony provide environments where online multiplayer thrives. Nintendo doesn't.
@Viper-A third party licensee is ATTEMPTING to port Unreal Engine 3 to the Wii. You make it seem like it's a sure thing they will succeed in their attempt.
