I had one character with claw gauntlets which could spin(the claws spun, not him) to rip holes in space, and as he gained control, eventually to different dimensions and even back and forth in time. Basically like a portal gun, except more than 2 could be created at a time and you didn't need a flat surface to create them. they could also be moved after being created.
Very versatile ability.
