PS3/Xbox 360 gap got bigger?

That's still hardly possible as the PS3 sold a few millions at launch alone. The 360 would have to outsell the PS3 by huge margins to just compensate the launch.

 

The 360 was selling more than the PS3 during holiday season 2006. And for most of 2007, even after the PAL launch, the 360 sold more worldwide every week.
