For the PSP analogy, it might happen, but PS3's not appealing enough for the Japanese market. As crazy as it sounds, 360 have more chance to take off like PSP did than PS3 at this point. RPGs are a very popular genre over there and of course, it'll never sell 360, but if Sony was smart enough to secure more RPGs, it might do it. MS, on the other hand, MUST absolutely prevent ff13 from being exclusive in Japan.
