Would Microsoft have crushed Sony if the Xbox 360 had had HD DVD built in?

The XBOX 360 apears to have less value for money than the PS3 since consumers often react better to PS3 price cuts than they do 360 price cuts , a high XBOX 360 price point ( caused by internal HD-DVD ) would have been the death of the 360.

The PS3 price cuts came with MGS4 trailing behind it. The Xbox 360's price drop in September will turn heads, so be weary.
