R2 looks great too, just not gears good.
As for the whole game, I'm going to like Gears 2 gameplay better (because it's not just another FPS) but for scale/epicness/story it'll depend on how good a job the " famous fiction writer" does for Gears 2. R2 threw the first punch with the 300 ft enemy, Gears 2 will need a premo story to trump that, because as we know R2 will at worst have a decent story. |

Graphicly, I think Gears 2 edges out Resistance 2 in most areas, but then I imagine The Leviathan (which is one thing Gears 2 needs to match graphicly before it wins a 100%, damn that thing is a beauty) picking up, and eating the head of a brumak
