@van, i'm sorry, but i feverantly believe that you will NOT see an evolution in hdtv soon... certainly not one you can afford(judging from what you posted)... check out UHDV on wiki and if you understand data storage you'll see what i mean... also do not dismiss lcd tech, it is actually very reliable, though you can actually only get a noname 32" sdtv for $250 right now, so i'm not sure what you're looking for. your more like the last person that bothered to get a color tv. i'm just trying to show a comparison , nothing personal.
