I can't speak for all Wii gamers but its not that I don't care for graphics, just that I feel graphics and controls both serve the same purpose which is to give a sense of immersion. I think that controls have been very neglected and that graphics have not been. So I made a choice to try something different. I went this way because the graphics are not completely out of date they just aren't cutting edge. Ultimately I think the simplest way to explain why people are choosing the Wii is because it suceeded in differentiating itself from the group. And standing out is important.
