Of course, since it's only on the Xbox 360, there has to be hate. After all, a lot of RPG fans threw $400-$600 down the toilet for a system that has near the same number of quality JRPGs that the Gamecube did.

The battles look awesome, fun, and have great transitions. Yes, the VA can get annoying, but there will be an option to fix that (every Tri Ace game has that option).

I think the reason no one, thus far, is complaining about ES is because it's coming to the PS3...Don't want to rock the boat when it's the first RPG the West is getting on the PS3! Some forget the VA was shouting all kinds of crazy drivel when you initiated a 24+ attack on ES (and there would be up to 6 attacks shouted per round, if you initated a big harmony chain).

Guess what? It wasn't a big deal in ES, and won't be in IU. Players will be focused on the incredible gameplay, and action as opposed to whatever the characters are shouting. Of course, since 50% of the people posting in this thread don't have a X360, they want to devalue such a good game in order to not regret their PS3 purchase.

PS: Why is it only Sony fanboys are attacking these RPGs? I haven't seen a pro-Wii guy on the MS forums in ages. Maybe it's because they actually feel secure with what they are getting?

 

Truth was told, devils shamed. You are absolutely correct sir. I just can't be as real about such things, since I don't enjoy mod status.

Calling things as you see them is often a bannable offense, lol.

As you can see, I stated this identical theory above. There is no doubt in my mind, if this game was a PS3 exclusive, you have no idea how touted and hyped it would be. Sony fans know how to back an exclusive, that's one thing I can say for them. They also know how to marginalize an exclusive to another console.

You know to watch out for spin when they start telling you that Mario Galaxy isn't their kind of game, and hype LBP to hell and back.

Now, apparently this game sucks, but WKS will be the best JRPG this generation, and Verses13 will almost certainly be superior to XIII. Tales of is a niche series that everybody hates, and Star Ocean is old news. They can't wait for TLR to hit PS3 though, so they can play the real version, which undoubtedly will have better graphics and sound, due to Blu-Ray and is totally worth the wait.
