All I gathered from Microsoft's reaction is that they have confidence in their system and that they are pleased with how the machine sold in July. Unfortunately, the latest numbers from the NPD seemed to overshadow the fact that the 360 is (temporarily) outselling the PS3 in Japan. Didn't Pachter and all the other arm chair analysts on this forum predict that PS3 would be ahead by now? I saw a lot of "by summer of 08" stuff about 8 months ago. What are we going to change it to now that it hasn't happened AGAIN?
