I agree, I like a good RPG or Shooter still, but I don't feel like I need more of them.

I keep talking about me buying a 360, this is for the JRPGs and, more so, for the really good original stuff on XBLA.

Same goes for PS3, I am looking forward to making levels in LBP and playing Fat Princess OverweightBig Boned Royal.

The biggest change for me has been live and multiplayer.  Before the 360 I never went online.  Now when I play shooters R6, GRAW, GOW online its a totally new game and experience (and tons harder people online are insanely good most of the time) online changes how it plays

I think many people do not care about online play.

Reasons why I don't like it:

1. I suck at shooters, I hate being reminded how much I suck.

2. Teens and tweens, I do not like them.

3. Hateful language. Yes, I know I can turn off the voices, but then what's the point, I may as well play off line.

4. People starting matches they don't intend on finishing (Mostly an RTS problem)

5. Live costs money.

6. I don't like shooters or sports that much.

Edit: though many, many people are playing Mario Kart and SSBB Online... just go check out their 1000+ post threads.h

Here is an example of why I dont mind paying $50.00 a year for live.  R6 I played offfline for a few weeks had a ball I still play it regularly online 8 months later.  If it wasnt for online I would have been done with the game months ago it prolongs a games life span

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game
