My point been what is it exactly.
Why would i want to keep fit on a console.
As I said originally it holds no interest for me as a gaming console.

btw my daughter got the wii for xmas.

I took the batteries out of the controller some weeks ago so they would'nt leak.

Thats how much the wii is used in my house.

Thats dosent bode well for me I got my daughter one for this christmas, I think she will like it

I would (generally) ignore comments like that on web forums ...

They are part of the paradox where every "Hard-Core" Wii owner isn't buying games and their Wii system is collecting dust, while "Casual" gamers never buy games and only play Wii Sports, yet the Wii is selling (roughly) as much software per system-month as the XBox 360/PS3 are. I'm not saying that these people are lying about what they see, but I do believe that their experience is not representitive of the market as a whole; quite possibly reask's problem is that he didn't buy games that really interested his daughter.

The last game I got for her was mario kart that is what she wanted.

She did knock good fun out of it for a while.

I played it myself with her a few times.

Since that she has only asked for ds games.

Anyway heres a question to you, do you wish there were more ps360 type games on it.

For the most part, not really ...

I own an XBox 360 that I bought refurbished because it was cheap and I use it (far) more as a media center than as a gaming machine. This hasn't been from lack of trying to play games either, and through canflix I have rented a large chunk of the 'Best' titles that are available for the PS3/XBox 360 and have (so far) been mostly disapointed with how horribly over-rated many of these games are ... a lot of the games are not necessarily bad, but I find myself getting about 4 hours into them and find myself amazingly bored because I have played the exact same game several times over the past decade.

This doesn't mean that I wouldn't want games in similar genres, or games produced at a similar level of 'quality' ... but I really want to see games move past the basic forumula that was established in 1998.
