My point been what is it exactly.
Why would i want to keep fit on a console.
As I said originally it holds no interest for me as a gaming console.

btw my daughter got the wii for xmas.

I took the batteries out of the controller some weeks ago so they would'nt leak.

Thats how much the wii is used in my house.

You should bring your Wii and your daughter to Gamestop and trade it in and let her buy five to ten games for another console then, and then somebody else who is dying to get one can.

Look I know it's different folks different strokes.

But the question was is it a fad and I still stand by my answer.

If it is'nt a fad why little or no third party support.

Because other companies do not like profit as much as Nintendo does?

They refuse to think outside the box and are getting left in the dust.

I know that the Wii isn't for everyone but I don't see how bowling, fitness, frisbee, dogs, fencing, and all the other stuff is seen as more of a fad than whatever the latest violent game that has 13 year olds so excited.

Teens are the majority of FPS/GTA players.

Teens like Miley Cyrus.

GTA 4 is just like GTA 3. Halo 3 is just like Halo 2.

Miley Cyrus is just like Britney Spears.

Edit: That is why many hardcore went to Wii this gen.  We are tired of the flavor of the week mentality of gaming, game websites, gamers online, and especially how companies cater only to teen males (and some adult males) who need to be shooting something to feel like they are accomplishing something. Just like what is going on in the music industry.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
