Anyone remeber when everyone said WII was a fad

I took the batteries out of the controller some weeks ago so they would'nt leak.

I would (generally) ignore comments like that on web forums ...

They are part of the paradox where every "Hard-Core" Wii owner isn't buying games and their Wii system is collecting dust, while "Casual" gamers never buy games and only play Wii Sports, yet the Wii is selling (roughly) as much software per system-month as the XBox 360/PS3 are. I'm not saying that these people are lying about what they see, but I do believe that their experience is not representitive of the market as a whole; quite possibly reask's problem is that he didn't buy games that really interested his daughts

She has a gamecube that she loves!  So I am going to get Mario Party 8 she has 5 and likes it, Mario Galaxy, Boom Blocks and Super Smash Bros Brawl she plays super smash with her bros (on gamecuber) and has fun with it.
