well isn't it obvious? Not many teens or adults buy the wii now, it's all for lil kids and babies. Same thing is happening to the DS. Everyone I know who has a wii actually wants to get rid of it and get a 360 or ps3! So yes it is still a fad, but more like a novelty.

Now you're confusing me. First all you Sony fanboys keep saying that the Wii only appeals to pensioners and soccer moms, now it's kiddy again? And I think it's a save bet that more adults and teenagers own the Wii now than either the 360 or the PS3. Not yet combined, but that will be the case in a couple of months.

The funny thing is that everyone I know who has a PS3 is a minor. This means that not many adults have a PS3. The other case is, that one of the people I know who has a PS3 has a Wii as well. This clearly means that about 50% of the PS3-owners have a Wii. Same thing is happening to the PSP.

Right?

One final question: how can something be a novelty for almost two years?

They did a study and morepeople ages 25-36 have a ps3.

More people ages 15-24 have an xbox 360 and wii. So more older people are buying the ps3. But there are a lot of kids in all 3 systems fanbases.
