Death to Robert Jordan. He'll never finish the series so he might as well die. I wish he would get on track and focus on the story and not what the Amyrilin Seat had for lunch. As much as I've enjoyed the series Ive never seen a writer fill his books with so much fluff. That said book to game could work out well. It worked great for the first Raymond E Fiest game but thats the only one I can think of that turned out well. Movie deal would probably = another Battelfield Earth. A body of text that large should never be taken on by hollywood. I'd like to see something set in the vein of Stepen R Donaldsons Gap universe or Margret Wise's Starfire/Xrixs the cyborg stuff or something from C J Cherryh. Barbra Hambleys the time of the Dark series would be my pick for Fantasy adaptation. |
He did, actually. About a year ago.
My first thought, sadly, was something like, "I bet you're done with those books now, you windbag."
OT: Call me crazy but I'd like to see Steven Pressfield's Gates of Fire turned into a game. Pwning with Polynikes would be so money.
