i'm not exactly sure what motion plus is but generaly peripherals non essential to gameplay never get majoirty userbase adoption . Nintendo would either need to give em away for free or sell them for $5-$7.5 to sell to a large % of the install base.
It doesn't matter how much this technolgoy cost a couple of years ago it's about how valuable to consmer decided it is to their gaming experience , unless Nintendo makes Motion + Mandatory of all new games it's going to fail to get any real support.
