I think Nintendo will want every wiimote in existence to have a motionplus attached to it (to encourage all developers to use it) and will do everything short of selling it at a loss to get them out there. Including:
- selling them at 0 profit (I have no idea how cheap that would be)
- bundling a free one in with every wii
- bundling a free one in with wiimotes (and wiiplay)
- bundling free ones in with the first dozen games that utilize it
