Nintendo should give something to the fans by selling it for very cheap.

Why? 1) for having its fans believe that the Wii-mote was capable of 1:1 motion. 2) it should have been part of the Wii-mote from the get-go.  3) The wii-mote + nunchuck is already expensive (I thought the Wii was supposed to be the affordable console?) and 4) if Nintendo wants the MotionPlus to be standard (and I believe they do) it should be affordable for all.

1.  They never once said it was 1:1.

2. The technology didn't exist in 2006 short of $500.00 MEMS gyroscopes.

3. The controllers are pretty high tech pieces of equipment.  Accelerometer, IR sensor, RAM, speaker, docking port, etc...it adds up in production costs.

4. They already stated it would be affordable (granted that's subject because Sony claimed the $600.00 PS3 at launch was affordable too).

I don't think Wii sports Resort will be the only game it's bundled with, I think Wii consoles will come bundled with it as well starting next spring and eventually built right into the controllers.

I agree. Nintendo never said the Wii was 1:1, it was just us hoping it would be. I read an interview where someone from Nintendo said that they wanted the remote to have these gyroscopes at launch, but they couldn't make it affordable. They will just bundle Motion+ with the Wii remotes in the future.

There was pretty much no way the remote could have been like this from the start. I'm just happy they're improving it and you should be too.

Stop whining.
