Exactly this is what the makers of Fable and Gears were talking about. While they loved MGS4 and hailed it as a great game, they realized exactly what they DONT want in Fable and Gears. Fable this time wanted to focus moreso on gameplay instead of putting so many movies in. This way to player keeps more intune with the story and missions.
