I've been playing nothing but the PS3 for about 6 months now and I decided to play a PS1 game for a change. So I popped in good ol twisted metal 4 and then realized how bad the graphics were, (there was also alot of glitches) so then I tried a PS2 game, Shadow of the Colossus and the graphics were better but still no where near what I was use to. Don't get me wrong there still fun as hell but I'm just saying each console is quite a big step in graphics and sometimes I avoid playing them games because of it.

So do you avoid playing PS1 or PS2 games today because of the graphics?

Or do you even care about graphics, as long as it's entertaining?

PS2 and PS1 games are far more interesting to me than the PS3 has to offer even though I want the next installment of Tekken and MGS really badly. Sony will have to cut the PS2, because earlier this year Sony was averaging over 200,000+ consoles sold per month on the PS2. It's hurting the PS3's sales, but the PS3 wont be able to drop normally without hurting Sony until the third year. I don't mind the graphics as I was playing fighting force on my PSX for nostalgic purposes.
