That's neat, although like they said in the article, it can't be nearly as accurate as the Wii-mote, thanks to the lack of a third dimension. That 'hiding-behind-the-back' thing is neat, but Nintendo could easily accomplish this (to some degree) by detecting certain wrist movements.
Note: I'd like to see a video of someone playing this while wearing a bright, luminescent green shirt XD
