Metroid Prime 3 and Halo 3 are nothing alike. Firstly Metroid Prime is an Action-Adventure, while halo is an Action game. Metroid Prime has more Puzzles, and MUCH MORE Adventuring aspects, and follows the zelda formula in terms of upgrades. Halo doesn't really have puzzles, has much more combat situations, and is much more linear. Also you don't upgrade rather than switch weapons. They are two different genres, and anybody who is looking for an FPS shouldn't choose a Metroid Prime game. The only similarity they have is the point of view, and your weapons are projectiles.
