I don't think it will sell as well as, say Resistance 2, but I doubt it has anything to do with its difficulty.
It seems to me, that it might not convince all the fence-setter core gamers for the PS3, those who have already pre-ordered Resistance 2.
The game has maximum potential of MGS4. It's almost certainly not gonna sell that well.
Now, LBP 2 is gonna blow it up. It's just the new IP in a questionable genre that many perceive as an "online game." It will sell well, for an original IP platformer. It won't change the gaming world with its sales. Sony should just bundle it with the PS3, if it's as good as most people are expecting.
