Question for SaGa Frontier lovers such as myself.

I absolutely loved SaGa Frontier, one of the greatest games I have ever played, too many reasons to explain why but what I loved most was the battle system, no RPG tops it for me, nothing even comes close.

Anyways I am in a bit of a gaming drought, I tried playing all the way through Persona 3, stopped 3/4 of the way through "The Journey". I tried to play Digital Devil Saga and just can't bring myself to play RPG's like this right now. I just completed Lunar 2, but now I need some more battle system goodness.

Any of you SaGa Frontier fans out there (if I happen to not be the only one) played Romancing SaGa on PS2? I heard some really good things about it and know that the battle system, extremely non-linear gameplay, mid-battle ability learning, insane battle combos with up to 5 party members and the LP system still exist in this game just as it did with SaGa Frontier. *Drools*

Should I go pick this up from Gamestop right now for $12.99?

 

I am strapped for cash but I need a gaming fix so personal opinions on the game from fans of SaGa Frontier can help me accept the fact that I won't be going to my girlfriends house this week to save myself that $12.99 worth of gas.
