Yes, despite showing that third party game sell, it's still the crap about "Well Okami, Zak & Wikki, and No More Haroes flopped," line that's used, despite the fact that they have no proof the games cost more to make than their sales.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
