360 gets a price cut that was mildly well advertised while ps3 bearly gets any 40GB shipments [the 399 one] leaving the consumers with a choice of a 500$ system or one for half the price. And you call the sales amazing?? MS isn't caring about profit from the 360.. they have made it quite clear so far that their real goal is to brutal beat down ps3's sales.
IMHO and probably the opinions of many others.. the PS3 has the edge in game line-up for from now until mid 09......
And do you really think the 360 will out sell the ps3 during the holidays???
MS's price point is what's causing the current 360 success.... that and ps3's lack of a 399 or lower console and....
