Yes but thats because youre just used to playing it that way. What if it went Third-Person and did something completly different and made the game just as enjoyable and fun?

 

Except it wouldn't. As I explained in my post above, making the game first person allowed it to do a lot that third person would simply not have allowed, nearly all of it key to the greatness of the game.

What you suggest later in the post (deleted to focus reply) would be an idea for a future Metroid game, but for Prime, First Person was the right choice.
