Valkyria00, Read my post and you'll understand why it won't work.
MP has too many in your face aspects that would be obscured by the character herself. Scanning, which is a very huge game element, would be awkward in 3rd person.
Not to mention the entire HUD, visor system, aiming system, and again the scanning system all rely on a 1st person perspective.
Going into 3rd person would completely change these elements.
