Metroid in 3D works better in first person than third person, because I say so. Three awesome games and you get to see the world through the eyes of a woman. What more do you want?

If you want the series to be in third person, you better explain how that would work and be superior to the games in first person.

Uhm..............................................................no.

Youve never even seen Metroid in Third-Person so it can possibly be better. Im not develop games so I cant answer that but I know its possible and Id like to see it in Third-Person.

Usually if you criticize a game for being something you don't like, you should be able to list at least a few points on how to make this game better. So why would Metroid in 3D be better in third person view? Which parts of the gameplay didn't work well in first person and would work better in third person?

Dunno. All I know is that I like Third-Person better so if I can actually see Samus like I do Link or Mario than Id be fine.
The developers can implement her canon morph ball and all that the right way.

I believe that making Prime 3rd person would actually make it MORE like a shooter. You'd just be running around shooting things, except in a more awkward manner. It would more clearly be YOU playing the game, not Samus. Making the game first person allowed a level of immersion and realism that is impossible with third person. You see thing's through Samus' eyes. Water gets on your visor if you walk under a waterfall or look up in rain. You see her eyes reflected it during some explosions. It makes scanning items seem like you actually are scanning them. The game would have been a lot less immersive and overall enjoyable had the game been third person.
