I honestly think summer is one of the better times to buy video-games. School-kids are getting off for the summer, picking up summer jobs and what will they spend that money on? Games most likely if they are a gamer.
My opinion on the worst time? Janurary-March. Right after Christmas, you've got PLENTY to keep your mind busy. I never buy games during those months.
