Ah, forgot to remention that one. It's definitely worth getting if you've got a Dreamcast, yes. Although ironically, it's also rumored as having a Wii sequel (although I'm not sold on the rumor yet myself).
And when I referred to Sonic Adventure 2 not being fun, I meant the game itself: the Gamcube version was a perfect replica of the Dreamcast version.
There was a Pal version of Shenmue 2 with english subs on the Dreamcast.
True, I forgot about that (which is strange, because I played it extensively..
) Still, Nintendo79612 is here in the US, so unless he's willing to go through some extra hoops to acquire the PAL version, it's not going to be easy to get his hands on it for a decent price. Which is sad, since it's better than 1 in a lot of ways (it just needed to de-emphasize the lack of money, even if that emphasis was realistic).
Keep in mind that I'm not trying to dissuade you from getting a Dreamcast, Nintendo79612; if you think it's worth it, more power to you, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it quite a bit. I'm just laying out the options for you, i.e. the ways you can play most of the Dreamcast's best stuff using just what you've already got.
