I would like to state a few comments in this mosh pit of a topic
1) I had predicted (in the prediction league) that the 360 would beat the PS3 by 80k.. 360 beat it by 100k!! OMG xbox gods rejoice and bring out the champagne
2) For all those saying "it's only February it doesn't matter if the PS3 did so bad" - Your lying to yourself, there's only 12 months in a year, and all the other consoles did ok!!
3) If it happens every month.. then it's a pattern and I'm referring to the front page estimates. A couple people (there's already been numerous threads on this) have noticed that every time that NPD numbers come the Wii numbers get reduced. Has far as I remember, that's happened in the last 3 NDP releases. Maybe it's time to rethink the Wii estimates and rejink that magic formula.
4) This is the age of the 360, for all those who say " oh wait, PS3 games are going to come out".. the 360 just as has many great games coming out
5) Will the 360 get a price cut? - Nah, they're greedy buggers, they're going to get as much money has they can until the PS3 cuts it's price first. And even then, I'm worried that M$ will keep the same cost, just to see if they still outsell Sony.
6) Software - Crackdown for the Win!?! - Wow, those are great numbers.. I doubt it sold any consoles, but honestly didn't think Crackdown was going to do over 300K. Also love the fact that no PS3 titles made the top 10... Now some may be asking yourself what the hell are PS3 owners playing.. well I'll tell you... They're playing BLU RAY's!!!

Seriously, if I was developing a PS3 exclusive right now, I would be pissing my pants. I'd be worried that I wouldn't have a job after the game is released and that no one buys it. I WOULD JUMP SHIP!! and make it multiplatform.

Well it was difficult for PS3 games to buy many games as the only games released in february were VF5 and F1 at the end of the month .If this trend continues in march when many games are being released then it would be something to worry about .Still ,the numbers for the PS3 present a ratio equal to the Wii ....and the Wii has included all the Wiisports bundled so we could argue the PS3 ratio is way better .Even Wii play casts some shadow as it is a game-pad combo .
