Two things to keep in mind. Nintendo has NEVER failed to be profitable except for one year and that was caused by exchange rate issues. I don't think they will have failed to bring along proteges to step in.
Second, if they did need anyone else, they have a few gazillion dollars on hand to hire anyone they want, or buy any company they want.
They'll be OK. But I'm not sure that they will find anyone who could watch summa wrestlers weigh in and come up with Wii Fit and the balance board.
