I would say 2GB is the minimum and 3-4 GB is possible if they aren't released until 2012. Also, I hope Sony at least puts a much better graphics card (when compared to the CPU) in the PS4.....
And I think you mean 8th gen, not 7th gen... 
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it
