| fkusumot said: One of the key weaknesses of the Wii, as opined by many, is its graphical capabilities. I believe this may be true. Setting aside the issue of gameplay vs. graphics I believe that if the Wii is graphically underpowered this is having an effect on the sale of games for the system. Why? Because I believe it's easier to sell a game with new graphics than it is to make a unique game offering created by talented people. |
Didnt read the rest of the thread, but I have to say you kind of come off as under handedly saying that HD games lack Unique gameplay or engaging gameplay with talented execution. tsk tsk
as for the topic, I think its far worse for the system that a very, very large portion of the games released for it are sub par shovelware. If people could reliably buy a game for the Wii and get a great fun time with it, graphics would be a moot point.
@Viper; seriously, drop the PS3 hate. 300 dollars wont buy you a PS3, thats 360 territory. Poor territory.
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"
"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"
