Is buying BluRay movies worth it if you own a PS3?

There are soooo many things wrong with that sentence... I don't even know where to begin to repute.

let's be fair, if you can't tell the difference between a naive 1080P movie.. vs 480P upscaled DVD.. there isn't much I can say.

 

No, please do.  That's kind of why I asked the question.

And yeah, I can't tell the difference and I'm wondering if most other people can't.  I know I've asked many people at work the same question and all of them can't except for a single person and he's a huge video snob.

 

 if you have a hdtv, bluray looks stunning next to dvd, you can tell the difference str8 away especially in clarity and colours. also the sound is also miles better.

i bought ghost rider on bluray and the old dvd that i had of that film doesnt come close. in short it looks and sounds better, well better imo
