I agree, and I hate George Lucas.
The Clone Wars cartoons were simply amazing...they were action-packed, short and sweet, and added some great story between the pretty crappy prequels.
And then they do this. Take some of the success of the cartoons, morph it into some bastardized CGI monster that has highly detailed spaceships (about as good quality CGI there as in the live action movies for goodness sake) combined with weird looking stylized characters...it doesn't quite fit for me.
And then of course the voice acting and animation is just...meh.
I will see this movie, and I still consider myself a Star Wars fan...but somehow I'm not excited at all about this movie. Maybe the actual series following this movie will be good, but I'm not holding out hope for any of it.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
