Not much ..
$300 to $400 is still well into the 'Early Adopter Core-Gamer' price range which is (essentially) what he already accepted that Nintendo may have lost some of those. The Wii will (obviously) not be $250 forever and it is likely the Wii could be $100 (Wii + Wii Sports) to $150 (Wii + Wii Sports + Wii Fit) by the time the PS3 gets into a price range which is appropriate for the average gamer ($200 to $300).
A question we don't really have an answer for is whether people will even be interested in the PS3 as it approaches $200. Blu-Ray as a selling feature only really stands as long as Blu-Ray players remain close in price to the PS3 and it seems like they're dropping far faster; and the games that are needed to sell the PS3 as a gaming machine will only be exclusive (or even released on the PS3) if it sells well enough.
