Have you seen any of the renders for the trump building thats almost complete? They looked terrible, but now that the things almost finished it looks great and fits in fairly well. Which is a rarity for anything donald trump touches. The same thing goes for Aqua. Although it does stick out a little, but in a good way. Chicago is going through a building boom and its skyline will look a hell of a lot different 10 years from now. I think there are about 60 buildings over 12 stories tall currently under construction and nearly 100 in the planning stages. Oh, and the Burj Dubai is really the tallest building in the world no matter how you slice it. If the Chicago Spire is finished quick enough it will be the second tallest in the world, but shortly thereafter it will be overtaken by the Russian Tower. |
Yeah the Trump building looks pretty good I think...it's not a wild design though. It fits in at least, and yeah, I was a tiny bit worried about that as well when I saw the renders. The real thing definitely looks better, so here's hoping the Spire turns out well.
Here's pics of the Trump building, which will be the second tallest building in the US, and Chicago, when it's done next year:

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
