Chances are they have more than that that neither of us knows about (I really don't keep up with PSP games, even though I can play them). Really, though, the system, at worst, keeps cranking things out at the same level year after year, and that's not a bad position to be in when your business is profitable. |
I'm making assumptions based on the topics created by PSP fanboys, who assert that the console is in a gaming drout and has been for a solid year.

The PSP is in a gaming drought. Adult oriented games that would have once went, no question to the PSP are now hitting DS, like GTA. The PSP's largest games are now second or first party, like Resistance spinoff, and 3rd party supporters are finding the PSP unprofitable outside of Japan, and in Japan online in a very specific genre, as the PSP is much harder to develop for than the DS.
The PSP once held a commanding lead on gamerankings, but that lead has been whithered, and now even when the lead existed, the console was surmised of ports, and games that were based off engines that allow for repititous year over year games like Madden or The Show.
It is especially apparent in a time when the DS is now taking off, with even diehard "advanced graphics" developers like Bioware choosing the DS over the PSP, and Activision saying that "Guitar Hero will hit all relevant consoles" but leaving the PSP out, is a stark reminder of the PSP's place in gaming in general.
You cite Parasite Eve 3, how many Square-Enix games are hitting DS? 10x as many? How much more imporatant? Dragonquest IX? 10x more important? Were you aware DS als is getting a KH game? Are you aware of the lineup for the PSP in the future and how slim and bleak it is? Have you seen the 3rd party support jump ship from not only large companies, but small?
The PSP has a poor future lineup, even by average standards. When you compare it to the DS, it's a complete disaster. Go to gamestop and search for the PSP games lineup and you'll see what I mean. those average titles that no one cares about? They don't exist on the PSP. When the DS is a much easier platform to generate profit from, as well as being easier to develop for, 3rd parties have made their choice. Naughty Dog, a Sony developer, is the remaining light of the console, and Resistance spinoff lements the generation that could have been.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
